Lighting Design

Since the performance took place in a studio, stage lights only included smaller versions of par cans. Therefore, in addition to few simple spotlights and general cover extra par cans were mounted on t-bars and were used to cast shadows on the white curtains. However, though experimenting with the light, the casted shadow was not strong enough to deliver the actors' actions clearly. At last, the director decided to use a projector instead, which it was able to cast sharp images as well as visual effects by projecting videos on the curtains, hence creating more suitable atmosphere for the opening scene.
